She's almost gone, finally.

Well, Frances is just about gone from our area, just a few lingering sprinkles and some occasional wind gusts. My area faired very well compared to some others.

Everyone please, please, PLEASE come back to Florida for vacation. Our economy is taking a major hit these past few weeks and we need some help.

Florida trips on my radar:

October 8-11 - kind of a reschedule for my Labor Day trip
October 25-Nov 1 - already planned trip
December ??? - True reschedule of my Labor Day trip. Just waiting to hear from the friend I was traveling with on when we will go.

We also expect to spend Xmas in Sarasota and then a few days in Disney again after the new year.

My tourism dollars arent going anywhere but Florida!

We'll be down Oct. 9-16. DukeStreetKing, did you get much damage where you are? I saw on the news, Weather Channel or somewhere, that between WDW, SeaWorld & Universal, there was $41 million lost in revenues this weekend alone. That's awful.

To Hurricane Frances I say good riddance to bad rubbish!!! That is saying we used to hear as kids....

Hey..I am coming back again, and again and again...Next trip back is tomorrow for Sept 7th for 7 days....

Heading back on Nov 27th till Dec 6th for another trip

Third trip planned is March 11-21st...doing my bit to help Florida stay open....

No, my area was not very damaged at all. Although it is raining again. Ugh.
