Sherman Brothers to get window on Main St. USA, Disneyland next week

Hey Everyone, I just read on the Disney Parks Blog that the Sherman Brothers will be honored with a window on Main St USA in Disneyland. Next week! I wonder if this is part of the D23 1 year anniversary celebration on March 10?

This wasn't announced yet when I interviewed Richard Sherman, and he didn't tell me. I'm very excited for him. When I spoke with him, you could tell how proud he is of his work with Disney.

I'm gonna be at Disneyland a couple days next week and might be able to catch the ceremony if I knew when it was. Can you call Dick Sherman and find out the date and time? You have his number, right??

We were lucky enough to cruise with him and his family back in 05. He was great! I loved that he apologized for writing IASW.

I think it is great that they are getting a window. I am a lover of music (as my board name and avatar may give away) and think that the Sherman bros. are the epitome of Disney Music. I am very reluctant to promote a competitor to the DIS but Lou Mongello did a great interview with one of the brothers a few months back for WDW Radio and you can tell that they loved Walt and the company in the same say that we do.

What a well-deserved honor. Can't wait to see the new window on Main St. My wife is a huge Disney music fan (especially the Sherman brothers' tunes), so she is very excited about this. She's really looking forward to your interview. BTW, congrats on interviewing yet another Disney legend.

That's OK Frank. I heard Lou's interviews with Richard Sherman as well. He did a great job. You'll have to know how you think my interview compares after you hear it.
