Sheridan Vistana - anyone disappointed?

Is everyone here discussing Sheraton Vistana Villages or Sheraton Vistana Resort?? Are they two different resorts? I am confused! I like the looks of the Villages with the 2 BR villas. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to drive your own car to the parks? I've stayed at WH, it was very close and convenient, is this resort as close?

The post is referring to Vistana Resort, not Vistana Villages. The Vistana Resort is closer to the parks than Windsor Hills, you can get to the parking lot of Epcot in about 5 minutes, it's about 10 minutes or so to the Transportation center. Very close. We are able to leave the parks around noon or so, take an afternoon break, and return to the parks by 5 or 6 pm, no problem at all. You only pay once for parking, and it applies to any of the parking lots.

There are some buildings at Vistana that have not been renovated, so you just have to be prepared. I'm staying there again in April, I'm hoping to get a nice, new unit, but I will manage with whatever I get.

there is no parking fee at Vistana. I believe you can have 2 cars also. There is no resort fee either, unless you upgrade to have housekeeping service.
