Sheraton Vistana?

Six months ago my parents informed that they won a vacation to Orlando in a silent auction at my brothers school. Clearly i was super excited because that meant one more trip to WDW this year They didnt know where we were staying until this week, and my dad told me today that it would be at the Sheraton Vistana Villas. I laughed because of how much I heard about it on the podcast, and got excited beacuse of how reccomended it is. So....

Those who have stayed at Sheraton Vistana, what can i expect?

Is it difficult getting back and forth from the parks?

I will be with my parents and they will be driving to the parks for a couple days, but will i have the option of taking a shuttle back and forth?

I was Lucky enough to win 2 nights stay from the Dis a while back (Thanks Podcast Crew )

This is a nice place. We had a car so we did not have to use the shuttle but at the time there was a charge to use it. I would bet you could get it free of charge if you spoke with the staff.

The rooms are very spacious and very nice. Nice furniture and very clean. The food at the restaurant was great. The pools were awesome.

No one bugged us trying to sell us into the timeshare. The staff was very courteous and helpful. In fact we had driven all night and needed to rest when we got there about noon. The desk clerk jumped though hoops to get us in a room.

My family is one of those "you have to stay at a WDW resort" but if we have stayed at the place outside of the trip we one as we got to Orlando earlier and it was well worth the money.

They have my recommendation and I think you will enjoy it.
