Has anyone stayed here before? Is it nice? A good solution to staying offsite but being close? I've found a pretty good rate through allears.com.

Yep we just stayed there 3/30 - 4/6 we will definetely go back again. We were in the Fountains II - 2 bdrm. We loved the grounds the fountains the bridges the wild life we saw from our water view room and especially the proximity to the parks, very close!!

I own and stay there quite often when I'm off site. Definately a nice resort. I recommend it.

I own there, and LOVE it!!!! I own in Lakes and Cascades, the two newest sections of the resort. The property is GORGEOUS! And believe it or not, according to the Unofficial Guide, Vistana is closer to some of the areas at WDW than some of the on site resorts!!!!! :woohoo:

Another Vistana owner here....since '94. I own in the Fountains.
Keep in mind, there are 9 different sections or villages at this resort. Some are very new and modern (Cascades), and some are much older. The Courts is the oldest and was a preexisting townhouse community when Vistana purchased the land in 1980. You will get varying reviews, but if you don't mind a less modern accomodations, the May and Sept rates from allears site are very good. If you book a 1 bedroom, you will get either the Lakes or Cascades (two newest sections). If you book a 2 bedroom, you could be placed anywhere.
Food & Beverage (3 restaurants and a Pizza Hut...
It's 2 sit down restaurants, a poolside food service and the Pizza Hut. They all offer room service as well. Last time we stayed at Vistana (8/06), there was a $3 delivery fee plus the tip. But you can order pretty much anything off the menus.
