Sheraton Vistana Resort - info wanted , please

8800 Vistana Centre Drive
Orlando , Florida 32821-6353

Starwoods newest vacation home.
I am trying to convince the family to stay outside of WDW.

How are the Vistana Resort buses ?

Do we / should we rent a car?

Any info would be helpful.

How far is 8800 Vistana Court from WDW entrance, DTD ?

Hi there, we are vistana owners so hopefully can help.
re the busses, we havent used them but there arent too many each day, we always have a car.
On leaving Vistana you take a right down the 535, 1st right at the lights, carry on under the I4 and you are driving under that archway.
If you want to go to DTD you take a left out of Vistana, go under the I4 take 1st left down hotel plaza blvd to DTD. The 1st way is quickest to get to the parks. You cant get much closer off property.

It's quick and easy to get to DTD from Vistana.
The resort is gorgeous-plenty to do.
A car is probably a necessity. The busses cost a lot and are not scheduled frequently or well. We looked into the busses the first time we stayed there and with all the trips and 5 of us it was cheaper to rent the car.
