Sheraton Vistana AAA rate

I booked 9 nights at Sheraton Vistana Resort mar 28- apr 5. I was given the AAA South rate. My son had a severe knee injury in his last Basketball game of the season. If all goes well he will just be getting his leg brace off at the end of march. I changed our reservations so we will arrive the day before easter. I asked for the AAA rate and it was much higher then what I originally booked. I figured it would be, because of easter. I asked if it was the AAA south rate and the girl checked and Quoted me a rate that was $50 per night cheaper! My AAA card does not say a region on it. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this, and what the difference is?

Sheraton units are very spacious, clean and with all the comforts that I can think of granite kitchen, modern bathroom including a Jacuzzi granite. The resort is also very well managed and has everything - lots of different pools,restaurants, children's programs, mini golf, tennis, basketball, game rooms, exercise rooms remaining sausage pizza hut. We stayed in the hull section that was renovated recently. We love this place!
