Hi all. I am staying at Sheraton vistana lake buena Vista for the first time in a little more than a week in the fountains section. I would like to be near the pool and tiki bar. What location would people recommend? Can you walk out of a bottom floor patio to the pool ? Thanks in advance.

Fountains I buildings 31-34, 38, 39 (all Friday check in buildings) back directly onto the Pool area. Keep in mind that the pool is open until 1:00 AM, so that isn't necessarily a good thing.

You can't quite do what you propose. Fountains villas DO have a rear access off through a door on the screened porch/balcony (3 storey buildings all have a rear access to the villas, probably fire code (Fountains I & II, Springs, Palms, some Spas), 2 storey do not (Falls, Courts, some Spas), buildings with Elevators and multiple front stairs do not(Lakes, Cascades)). However, these Fountains buildings are not directly attached to the pool deck, and the pools are fenced for safety and security. You would still need to walk to the nearest gate to access the pool area.

Suggest you head over to the Vistana site here https://www.vistana.com/destinations/sheraton-vistana-resort/map and click on the Resort Map tab. The red buildings on the map are Friday, Blue are Saturday, Green are Sunday. It has been reported that Vistana doesn't always follow their own rules on this, but that is probably more by lack of availability in the proper sections.
