Has anyone stayed here? Do you know where I can find reviews? I am interested in hearing about the service, the rooms, the restaurant and anything else that would help. We are staying here two nights before we head to our stay at Universal and I wanted to hear more. The website looks great, but I wasn't sure about the experiences.

Thanks!

We stayed there for four nights ths past April. the room was fine, beds comfortable, niche thick towels. we didn't use the restaurant, the pool is a little small, but good. There isn't an ice machine on every floor. Could see fireworks from our room every night. Lots of restaurants and shoping within walking distance. It is on the I-ride path, so that is convenient. It has shuttles to the parks but we didn't use them. Would stay there again, but seeing as we have never stayed on site it could be a letdownto those who have.

We've stayed there at least four times and like the theming a lot. It's also nice to have queen beds instead of doubles. We were not wild about the restaurant and have not used the pool, but have been happy with the service.

Thanks for all the great reviews! The theming is what drove us here. Since our trip is based on Universal this time, we thought the Hollywood theming would be fun. The rooms look great!

Thanks again! Does anyone else have reviews for this hotel?

Thanks!

Spidey,

I think it would depend on the rate.
I went there not to stay, but to pick up a rental car at Alamo, which is on the side of the hotel

My first impression of the hotel was that it was rundown.
Although it was supposed to have an art deco decor, it looked to be unkept. The lobby had mirrors and leather furniture, I think. There were dead leaves in the parking lot, and you could tell that the grounds were not maintained. I just thought to myself after staying at the RPR that if I had to stay there I would be totally depressed.

Thanks for the info Purfecta! It's a good thing I will be staying here before I move on site at Universal. I got a great rate too!

Thanks again!

Anyone else?
