sheraton safari shuttle service to WDW question?

We are at the BWV for 5 nights and then on Friday we are switching to off site before we head home on Saturday. We are staying at the Sheraton Safari for that Friday night.

Here is our plan. We pack up the Van and then head to Epcot in the morning. Then come back to the BWV in the afternoon and leave to take a break and check into the Sheraton safari. Then head back to Epcot for dinner and the rest of the evening.

How is the shuttle service back to WDW for any of you that have used it?

Would we be better off to drive back to the park in the rental car or use the shuttle?

They day we check out of the BWV are we still able to park for free at the parks Since we were still there till check out at 11:00???? If not we do have the shuttle option??

here is my post from August 2005 listing their new (at the time) shuttle schedule. You might want to check with them to see for certain if the times are still the same for the evening shuttle you want to use for EPCOT

Yes, you can park your rental at the parks for free all day on your last day onsite. IMHO, your rental is always better than the shuttle. Good luck!
