Which is better? Anyone know?

We're staying at the Swan next December and will get a whole boatload of SPG points. (Like 8,000).
So, we got APs instead of park hoppers and are going to take the kids down as soon as school is out in '06.

We thought we'd use our points to stay down there for 4 days or so and want to maximize our stay at as little cost as possible since it wil lbe trip #2 in 6 months time.

Can anyone recommend either or? Safar is appealing to me, but I'm not the only one staying there ;).

We could always save our points and go somewhere else...and stay at Pop century for super cheap....I just can't decide.

if you have annual passes and are going during WDW - my vote is Pop Century.

Used points at Studio City last March. Easy walking distance to wet and wild and IHOP, Denny's and Walgreens. Pool is on the small side.. no slide or jacuzzi. We were given room on the top floor--great view and had access to club lounge--snacks in the evening. Closer to Universal than Disney. Boys--10, 20 enjoyed stay because they could hop the I trolley and go minature golf and other places on I-Drive. Overall, we felt the use of points was a value at this resort.

If you plan to be visiting WDW, go to the Sheraton Safari. I stayed there last May and loved it. It's right outside DTD and is very convenient.

If you plan to visit Universal, then I'd go with Studio City. :teeth:

Hi there,

I have only stayed at the sheraton safari, so that would be my
choice. Its in a great location. There are many restaurants
in the area and only a short way from downtown disney.
The pool is really nice as well as a"HOT"whirl pool.
They do offer a nice breakfast buffet in their restaurant which
is convenient but is a little pricier then some. They also have
balconies in every room which is nice to sit and have
cup of coffee on in the early morning.
Well I hope this helps.
Tracy

Awesome!
Yes, we'll be going to WDW.

What's around the DTD area? I've never been to that region of the World :)

Isn't Beaches and Cream there?

The DTD area has lots of shopping, restaurants and Pleasure Island. Also close by is Typhoon Lagoon if you want a water park. Right outside DTD is the Crossroads Plaza with a grocery store (Goodings) and lots of restaurants.

Beaches & Cream is located at the Y&BC. :teeth:
