Sheraton Safari (Buena Vista)

My wife and I shall be staying here in September.

Just wondering how easy is it to travel to the Disney Village from here by foot? Any info, directions would be greatly appreciated as I don't really want to wait around for the hopper bus or pay for a taxi - even if it's at a good price.

Plus, if anybody has stayed at this hotel, How did they rate it?

Disney Village? I am not quite sure on what the Disney Village is. Maybe a little more info and we can help you out

I believe the OP is referring to Downtown Disney, the Marketplace.

You CAN walk from the Sheraton Safari but it's a good 20-25 mins. by foot. This is not a pleasant walk if it's hot and humid out. We stayed at the Doubletree Club just up the road from where you'll be staying and did the walk, but have sworn to never do it again!!!

Disney Village is what Downtown Disney was orignially called.
