Hello everyone....:goodvibes
I tried doing a search but I couldn't find the answer to this question. I am looking into staying at the Sheraton Park Hotel for our trip next summer. I am looking at the Club level rooms, which I understand them to be on the higher floors. On Sheraton's website, it states that these rooms come with "an amazing view".....is this a view of DLR? I would like for us to have a room with a balcony facing DLR, but couldn't find a room with that description. Would I have to request this view or do I pay extra for this view?
One other question.....is there a Denny's or IHOP within walking distance of this hotel?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! :goodvibes

I love the sheraton. Yes you have to request a Disney view room. 9 times out of 10 you get that. The higher floors is what you want. There is a Dennys on Katella and there is an IHOP just up on Harbour. Both within walking distance. The restaurant at the hotel is good too. Are you a preferred guest? If not then go to the hotel website and become one.

Located on the top two floors, Club Level guest rooms offer upgraded amenities, newspaper delivery, and turndown service upon request. Club guests also have special access to the Club Lounge: a relaxing, upscale space where guests enjoy complimentary breakfast each morning, as well as complimentary evening hors d’oeuvres and a variety of beverage options from 5pm – 7pm daily. The Club Lounge is also where you can connect with friends, meet with your team, or simply relax by catching your favorite TV show. Need to get some work done? A copier/fax/printer and complimentary office supplies are ready to go.

Thank you so mcuh for your response! :thumbsup2
How do I request a room with a disney view? Do I request it when I make the booking, or do I call a few days before hand?
Thanks again :goodvibes

Hi again...:goodvibes
Sorry for all the questions, but I now have another one....:rolleyes1 I was just on Disneyland's website and searched for pricing for August 2009. :yay: The prices are now available and I was able to price out a package with tickets. The only option for rooms at the Sheraton Park was a standard or Concierge. If I were to book through Disney's website or by calling disney, who would I request a disney view with....will disney do that request for me, or would I have to call the Sheraton Park directly myself.
Please excuse all my questions....I have travelled to WDW every year, stay onsite and can make all the plans myself. For this trip to DLR, we will be staying off site but I am wanting to book through disneyland and am not sure exactly how it works.....:confused3
Thanks again for any help and advice :thumbsup2

I would book the hotel myself if the price was right. You could ask disney travel when you book if they would do this for you. If you have no choice but to book with disney, get the concierge floor. That way you get continental breakfast as well.

Hi Erin,
We have stayed here three times using Starwood points. Just wanted to clarify that the view from the balconys at the Sheraton Park are of DCA. But it is a good view. All the lights and sights are visible. Especially from a high floor (which you should request). And if you are in your room for the fireworks, they are awesome. We love that hotel, but have had spotty service and the parking charges/rules are ridiculous. The club level/Disney view rooms will be hard to top. Have a great trip.:)
