We are booked in at the park Vue Inn. However since i booked two of my sisters have decided to come with their kids. They are doing kids fly free and the package was sheraton park inn....anyone have any experience here....oursleves we were leaning to convenience over little ammenities...undecided if we should switch?

Just got back and stayed at PVI--I would never stay there again, nor would I recommend anyone stay there. Some friends of ours stayed at the Sheraton Park over spring break and loved it.

PVI is in serious need of renovations. The location is fabulous, but it doesn't make up for its downsides. We are NOT picky people.

We LOVE the Candy Cane Inn and will be returning there for our next stay.

We LOVE the Candy Cane Inn too. We're staying there next month. Love the exclusive shuttle.

We truly enjoyed the Sheraton Park last month. The beds are fabulous and the hotel is spotless. The people could not have been more helpful and friendly.

However, it is a quite a walk 10-15 minutes with 2 adults and 2 11-year-olds. We never used ART, but I sometimes wished we would have. We are just too impatient to wait. Park Vue was looking pretty good at the end of the evening.

Do you know if their shuttle was reliable? I cant imagine doing the walk...hojo at night was plenty far, Sheraton is even further....

Gotta agree with the posts above. I would not stay at PVI again. Our room was a bunkbed room and it was SMALL. The refrigerator opened and practically hit the bed and the bathroom was right across from the bunkbeds also, so no room to move in that area at all. There was nothing except the desk chair & beds to sit on. The pool was not that clean and the breakfast was not good at all, even for free. I had high hopes from reviews I had read, but was disappointed. Location is really all it has going for it IMHO.

What a quandary I thought this was done hours of research and we had it figured....we have always done Hojo, so I have been. Nervous from the get go venturing into the unknown, with 1/2 my family now at the Sheraton I M having to reevaluate....

Sheraton Park does not have a shuttle. It is on one of the ART routes. We took a taxi back twice and it was only $7 each time.

Another point for the Sheraton: Fireworks View Rooms. In some of the rooms, you can see World of Color, too.
