We stayed here through Hotwire on Dec 7th before an early flight on the 8th.
I have to tell you that this was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our whole 2 week vacation that included Disney and Universal on-site.
We arrived after a long Park Day at about 4:00 pm. and were checked in very quickly.....the staff was extremely friendly and the lobby was really nice. I didn't pay too uch attention since we were so tired, but I think there was a bar there also.
We asked for a room with 2 beds and were quite surprised when we got there. They are 2 bedroom suites. You walk into the living area of the room and there is a nice big desk, refridge, wet bar, pull out sofabed, coffee table and end tables, an overstuffed chair and a TV. Then, the bedroom has a door to close which was nive to put the kids to sleep and we could stay up and watch TV. The bedroom section had a huge vanity with a bench seat, 2 beds, a TV (which included all flight schedules) and a small room with shower and toilet. Huge walk-in closet in there too.
It is in a great location...several hotels there in a cluster....we ran quick to a Dennys at the end of the block (but lots of other restaurants close by) and then DH drove to the airport to return the car....they had him call the shuttle when he was erady to come back.. He was probably gone 1 hour total.
The next morning we scheduled the airport shuttle to pick us up at 5:20 am and it took us about 5 minutes to get to Northwest Airlines gate.
I would definately say it is worth the $63.00 to stay at this hotel.
