shephards beach resort on clearwater beach?

hello out there... just wondering what everyone (anyone?) thinks about this resort. with the looks of it, along with what to do, we were thinking about staying there. one question... is it kid friendly? we will be staying there in mid week... so i'm guessing there won't be much rowdiness going on. but... i don't know... hoping someone out there would.

We haven't stayed there but we did eat there twice, with our DD (then 6) last year

I'd certainly have stayed there with DD and I tend to avoid anywhere that isn't 'kid friendly' like the plague
It's within easy walking distance to the Pier and right beside a bus stop

Maybe someone else has differing experiences though ?
