Todd, woo hoo for the upcoming trip to WDW!!!!! I hope y'all have fun going on all the "big kid rides" That should be a blast! They sure do grow up quickly though. I can't believe how old both of them look

Kim....how was your WDW trip this June? I still so wish we could have worked out seeing each other but that week before our trip I ended up sick in the hospital and it took thru halfway of my WDW trip to even feel better. I didn't even ride half the rides because I wasn't feeling well. Wasn't TS Alberto fun!?

Have fun at WDW. We loved going in September. DH loved the free dining and wants to go back next year if they have it. We loved POFQ. Once you have been invaded by cicadas, the love bug invation is nothing.

Kitty, DISpite TS Alberto, my kids & I had fun! We're used to rain and ponchos, etc. It didn't slow us down AT ALL! As for my family, 1st timers, NOT used to RAIN on vacation, they were NOT as happy. They made the best of it tho, I think, and we ALL enjoyed our time together. The DIS and DU helped enormously with the 'extras' for ALL the 1st timers we had with us!

I'm so sorry you were sick before and during your trip! My DBro went down WITH bronchitis and, he spent nearly every day in his room and, my DNephew took a trip to the emergency care center down there as well. He had some virus. Really tho, I mostly LOVED the trip! Meeting you tho, would have been Great!

Kim, that's too bad about your brother and nephew. It certainly is no fun being sick at Disney, that's for sure! The rain didn't bother me except that day it was really bad we decided to go to DQ. Bad Idea! As 98% of all the other guests had the same brilliant idea!!


btw...it's OK you root for the Bears. One of my brothers is a BIG Bears fan and has been since he was a babe so we're used to the cheerin'. Gotta say we have to go out of state for pro football anyway as the lions play like kittens!

Kim,Kitty,we were on Tybee Island when TS Alberto went through..there was a tornado that touched down on the island next to us..We didn't see it or hear about it til later..

That must have been the SAME day we went and, couldn't get in! I kept telling everyone that if it's THAT full, you don't WANT to get in. DTD was good enough. Great shopping as usual but, like you said, the rain was really BAD that day!

I only care since they're winning! Mom likes Brett Favre (Green Bay), Bro liked Marino so, still likes Miami, DSIL likes Pittsburgh. I need a scorecard after Sunday/Monday football.
