Shelly Mae Coming West?

Hi I've been a fan of the Disboards for a while now, but have yet to post. My DGF and I just returned from a two day trip to DL and DCA. My DGF is a huge Duffy fan. She was excited to find a shop on Main Street still selling Duffy ears. CM's kept commenting on her Duffy ears.
In a store on Buena Vista Street a CM told us some exciting news. He said that Shelly Mae (Duffy's GF) was headed to DCA sometime late this year or early next year. He really seemed to know his Duffy info. My DGF was ecstatic! I wanted to share it here with you guys.

That would be wonderful! My DD isn't really into stuffed animals usually, but we bought Duffy for her last year and she loves him. If I could surprise her with Shellie Mae for her birthday trip, it would be awesome!

That said, CMs have been saying Shellie May's coming "soon" since at least October 2011, so I won't believe it until Disney officially announces it.

Sadly, the 17" Duffy plushies they sell in the US are inferior in quality to the original ones they sold in the US back in October 2010, and also inferior to the Japanese versions. They've changed the style a little and the fur looks much cheaper. So I'm not sure how if an American Shellie May would have the same problems, or if they'd just bring over Japanese ones at first.

That said, I am sure she'll sell really well if they ever bring her over.
