Shellie May Plush in WoD

Hi,

Does anyone know or seen Shellie May bear in the parks yet to buy? I know she is supposed to come out soon if she is not already on the shelves.

I just read online somewhere that she's expected to release on October 20th. I'm going to be stalking the Shop Disney Parks app and store online to try to snag one for my DD's birthday on the 30th. She loves Duffy SO much and I know she'd love a friend for him.

Mine loves Duffy as well - she dumped her posse of 6 years (Elmo, Grover and Perry the platypus) for Duffy on our trip in May. We will be in DLR next week and hope Shellie May is out by then

I just saw recently that Shellie May would be coming to the US Disney Parks this Fall. I was figuring it would be soon, but I was walking through WoD and they had 17" plush, a small pre-dressed (cheerleader) plush, a pillow pet, a book, and a couple of costumes for the 17" bear (Marie, Princess, and Tinkerbell) already. They're in the plush room, near the Tsum Tsums!

I cheeked the Disney parks shopping app for Shellie May stuff, On the Disney Parks shopping app they have two items posted. One item is the Shellie May storybook. The other item was a Shellie May Pillow (which has already been sold out according to the app). Hope you have good luck getting a Shellie May.

I'm so excited about this! I've been trying to decide all day if I should tell my kids or let them be surprised?! Funny thing is that every time we would say that Duffy was no longer at WDW, my 6 year old always corrected us that, "He will be!" He has dreams of working at Disney and the first thing he wanted to do was get Duffy a place of honor. My kids Disneybounded as Duffy and Shellie this past September.

I'm hoping to get the storybook when we are there in a couple of weeks. A friend picked my girls up Shellie May bears when she was visiting Tokyo last year, but the storybook tags are in Japanese, so we don't know the story yet.

These were some of the things I saw yesterday (I forgot to take a photo of the costumes).

Oh, this is too funny. Last week the bears went on sale, but were pulled because it was too early (Thursday evening). I toyed with leaving work, but didn't because we were going Saturday morning. Didn't go, then they were pulled.

Saturday I looked, but of course they were not out. I spoke with a cast member at Treasures in Paradise. I had read other places online that the official date was 10/20. He wouldn't really confirm that because it didn't come from an official source, but did say he had heard the 20th.

Others in WDW heard the same 10/20 story.

So of course they went out on 10/13! As I paid for my friend's bear, the cast member said last night someone brought 25 (!) bears.

Oh, those are so cute! May have to pick one of those pillow pets up. Hopefully there will still be some next week when I get there

Just a note, but as far as I know, the Shop Disney Parks App only lists some of the items available at WDW. It doesn't list the items at DLR, which is unfortunate. Hopefully they'll add DLR at some point.

That's sad...that's obviously someone who is planning on selling them on the re-sale market (I can't imagine a situation where one person would need 25 of them). I remember folks doing that with the 60th Anniversary Popcorn Buckets on the 24-hour day. They were actually bragging about it and about how much they would make from the sales of these items. Sigh...

Ya and I hope they realize they now that they're available in America, that's pretty much useless lol. Americans were really the only ones buying those bears on eBay and it was just because we didn't have them here. I hope they fail! I hate eBay resellers

I got the pillow pet, cheerleader and book tonight. Plenty of pillow pets so don't go by that app cause it's for WDW
