Anyone riden Sheikra at Busch Gardens yet? How is it? Are the lines long? I'm going next week! Hope it's a smooth and fun ride. :cool1:

Don't plan to ride it! For the first hour of each day throughout June, it will only be open to BG passholders, including Fun Card holders. You may want to consider getting one of those as it is only a few dollars more than a 1-day ticket.

We actually have season passes, so hopefully we can get on in that first hour.

I can't wait to hear from anyone who has ridden it already too. I have to wait until December to try it out.

Is it open now? How far is BG from Disney? I would really love to ride it. I never thought I'd get toride a dive machine, and now it's actual possible.

BG is about 75 miles from Disney, It's a shot west on I-4, get on 275, and follow the Exit signs.

I cant wait to ride it, I just hope they have size considerations. I tried to ride A Coaster out in Cali at Knotts and I couldn't ride it because I'm too busty. They had someone measure me.... *sigh* it was sad. Though I can tell you, it LOOOKS incredible. Wheeee!

I work for BG on occasion, during the Halloween season!

Actually, I would suggest I-4 to I-75, get off on Fowler, go a few miles till you are in front of University of South Florida and make a left on McKinley (there are signs). This will keep you more on the outskirts of town, easier drive, and a little shorter drive too.

I live very near Busch Gardens and that's the way I come from Orlando.

What is the traffic like going to Busch from Orlando. Someone who lives in Orlando said it took him 3 hours to get back. I would love to try the new ride but don't fancy hitting major traffic jams.

We just got back from Florida this week. My son and I rode Sheikra, the wait was around 35 minutes. The ride doesn't last long but it was well worth it. There was some traffic delays on the way back to Orlando. A couple of times we slowed down to around 20 mph, nothing that made us come to a complete stop. There were some construction areas that closed a lane. I hope this helps.

SheiKra is absolutely awesome. I didn't experience much of a wait, but any wait is worth it, IMHO. You can read my full review here.

I've been on this coaster several times so far. I LOVE it. It is very smooth. The times I've gone in the morning the line wasn't even there, but at night expect 20 min or so.
:)
Oh and for pooh sized people, they do have some bigger seats in the 2nd row, so don't worry!

I just came back from from BG was there Mon and Tues. SheiKra was AWSOME, AWSOME, AWSOME we also enjoyed a few of the other coaster, Montu, Kumba, Scorpion and the Congo River Rapids which you will get soaked on.
I'm also a Pooh size kind of gal and they do have seats with a double seat belt that is for us on the 2nd and sometimes 3rd row.
