Anyone going from may onwards will have the chance to ride this beast. It looked fairly impressive when we were there last week but they've now finished the first drop. Found photos here for anyone thats interested. http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/sheikra.html

You have to be a serious adrenaline junkie to ride this one though.

my hubbie can't wait to try this.....no chance i'll be going anywhere near this!

have you watched the video on the bush gardens website??

It's gonna be awesome!! I don't know whether to head for this first thing or go to Rhino Rally first though as the queues can be big for this. With going in June though, the newness of this beast will mean it is popular!

It is going to be interesting to see how it affects the crowds, because I believe the entrance to the new ride is about halfway around the park. What will be the quickest way round to get to it - and will you ride the other big coasters that you have to walk right past on the way, or come back to them later?

We've found that typically, most people (or at least, the coaster-heads like me!) when they arrive at Busch Gardens bear right and do Montu because they see it from the car park, which is why we now normally head left and start on the wooden one (Gwazi?) and go round the park clockwise.

I am going to go with Rhino first then Sheikra. I find that once people are in, then Montu calms down for the very reason you state - people hit it first. Given how slow loading RR is, I still think it will be worthwhile to hit this first. If you can get it first thing, you should still be able to get to Sheikra without too much of a wait. I find generally though, that the lines for BG are not anywhere near as bad as Disney/Universal (depending on day of the week of course).

I can't wait to ride this later on this year. I am a total coaster nut (I plan to make the most use out of my Tussauds annual pass this year!!) I love Nemasis and Oblivion at Alton Towers, but this makes them look like kids rides!! I can't wait!!!!

I can safely say i won't be going on this one but DH and FIL will be giving it a go in June :Pinkbounc
