I'm a HUGE Def Leppard fan and will be traveling to Sheffield on a side trip from London to Scotland. Anyway, I want to visit Steve Clark's grave, but also see other things related to Def Leppard. Does anybody have any suggestions? TIA!

i dont know anything about the def leppard part, but if you like to shop go to meadowhall its great

Behind The Meadowhall is Don Valley Their triumphant gig in 93 also further down that road is the spoon factory where they used to rehearse
You could also go to The City centre registry office where Joe got married in the eighties
Or if your really keen in The book Animal Instinct Im sure it has he addreses where they were born..
Plus your not far from the road where Rick lost his arm (That may be a bit gruesome tho)

Hi,

I like your idea of music, my family and I love bon jovi, we like to see some big acts when we are on holiday to Florida as we have a villa there.
If you are ever thinking of going to Florida Check it out but you will need to ask me for the web address. If you like Def leppard try my number one live act which is Deep Purple.

Regards

Len.

Ian

The registry office used in the eighties is no longer there it was pulled down recently as they are redeveloping that entire area - to be honest I'm not even sure what they are using as a registry office at the moment.

Thanks everyone for your information. I guess I'm going to have to re-read Animal Instincts. I love the book anyway! LOL

Len ~ I love Bon Jovi also! :)

There is a pub that Def Leppard has played at a lot of times in Sheffield. It is on their Vault DVD. I guess I need to re-watch it to find out the name of it. The DVD also shows one of their concerts at Don Valley. I really interested in visiting Steve Clark's grave site. I'm really miss him in the band even though I like Vivian as well.

I'm really looking forward to my trip! Thanks!!

Bizarrely you could visit my school. It's not mega interesting or anything but it is where def leppard played their first gig.

Sheryl ~ I read about that in Animal Instinct. How cool!
