It was a good day.

I just talked to the mom that is taking DD10 to the science center
and she invited DD13 to go along (she has a two year old, so 13 is helpful to her)

DD13 said she might like to go....
it would be nice if she did, actually
rather than being home alone all day

:thumbsup2

How are Grandma and Pap doing?

They are doing well,
all things considered.

I think Pap is slipping....memory wise, fraility
Gram does a lot of complaining about how much work he is
but also doesn't like the nurses coming in "all the time"

pap isn't sleeping well
so neither of them are.....

I'm sorry!
I wish there was a way that they could both feel comfortable! All of these things are hard on them, both!

Thanks:hug: There is not much anyone can do. My mom is a saint, she helps them out daily and gets no gratitude, only complaints from Gram...

How is your mom getting along?

My break is over.

Hope you have a good night. It was nice to see you here this evening.

I'm sure that your DDs will have a nice time at the science center.

Have a good day tomorrow!

First, I have to repeat that yes, your Mom is just wonderful!! :flower3:

Thanks for asking about my Mom. Her foot is doing better, but she's got so many other health issues that she just is not enjoying life the way that she should.

:grouphug: Thanks, Sarah!
Have a wonderful Friday, yourself!
See you tomorrow!

Sorry to hear your mom continues to have health issues. I am sure it is difficult for your dad, too.

Bye!

DS is home from his game and now wants to taxi me
over to his GF's house for a visit

actually, he doesn't want ME to stay and visit (hee hee hee)

GF will bring him home at ten
so I guess I will allow it

the Penguins are playing
but obviously his priorities are not on hockey tonight;)

 a quick drive by

Snow I glad you had a nice time at the zoo & what wonder weather! Wow my weather was more like was's that day.

We are planning to go to the zoo on Saturday -- they have an equipment day w/ all sorts of fire trucks, snow plows, bulldozers & such that the kids can climb on & sit in & beep the horn (it's very loud there that day) -- but great fun for the kiddos

was40 I just have to say I LOVED pretender & macgyver (I don't think that is spelled right -- too lazy to google (or bing )

Sarah  for your Mom & :grouphug: for Gram & Pap was40 (even though Gram is cranky --- my Dad is too -- I've often told my Mom she can live w/ us if she needs to .........my Dad mmmm.........probably not .........he can go stay w/ one of my (crazy) sisters )

Pens are winning :woohoo:

(not watching either -- but just saw it on the news)

My nephew got to meet one of the Pens players yesterday --#15 -- he is on the injured reserve (:confused3)

Often the Penguins & Steeler players go into Children's to see the kids.

He was very excited, got his autograph too. ::yes::

Snow have a GREAT time at prom tomorrow (today) & Millie will be great!

I got my netbook :cool1:

I am not coming to you 'live' from the netbook though :sad1:

DH is working on connecting it to the network......but now he is off to bed.

I got a 10.1 inch Dell -- only came in black though........I wanted a pretty white or pink one ...........oh well I can get a pink sleeve ::yes::

It is very cool & light! Very quite too ::yes::

(I'm helping out the economy too Kimmy )

Of course I may not be helping out the economy past July if the state budget doesn't pass.............:headache: (& without a doubt it will not pass on July 1st)

I don't get paid until the budget passes............so cross your fingers
