I have just noticed that Ellen is on in the morning,
and I enjoy her funny show!

I am now highlighting my hair in a new
"I think it will work"
lazy was40 way

I wanted to get some thicker "strips" of hair highlighted
usually I pull through the cap
which is great, and looks really good
but at the salon,they use foil to get this "thicker" style

I have no time for foil
or inclination
so I am developing my own little style

I will let you know in about a half hour
how this was40 brainstorm works!

day camp, there were lots of friends there, so it is sure to be a good time

Right now it is 70 beautiful degrees and the sun is shining brightly. Never would have expected this after what I woke up to this morning.

DS and I went to the store (he wanted flip flops for pool duty)
and it cost me $40 just for toiletries, soap, laundry soap, paper towels..
YIKES!


DS can't have Target flip flps
we had to go to Dicks
and spend an outrageous amount
I think they are made of gold, even though they are blue!

I hate Dick's, BTW
always overpriced
the lady had to walk the flips to the register
does that give you a clue as to how pricey they are???


I am a Wal Mart kind of flip flop gal
I like them to be one dollar
but will pay up to five and think I am living large!

DS wanted to use his ColdStone Creamery gift card
he made a dent in it
but not used up
this was my first experience with COld Stone
very very yummy

I said save giftcard and you and GF can come here
he says, GF isn't allowed to drive that far

currently 81 and bright here...

will be a bit hot for ballgames,
but not unbearable

DH says he is going to girls game
and I get DS's game
it is too frustrating for him to sit and watch DS ride the pine
18 kids on a team is too many, obviously

(who no longer smokes)
Pall Mall
walked to the teeny corner ma and pa store
they never batted an eye
in the small town we lived in

today minors can't purchase at all
which is a good rule, I daresay
