I called MS this morning and scored a 2 bedroom lock-off at the GCV for 5 nights in June at the 7 month mark. The CM asked if we wanted a theme park view or pool view. I requested a theme park view but would be stoked with either!!!

rentayenta, you must be a hockey mom! "She shoots, she scores" could only come from a hockey mom. I am a youth hockey coach and I love my hockey moms. Congrats on the score
But I LOVE that saying- it's got sooo much positive energy! 
Congrats! I'm happy you were able to get what you wanted. I am surprised the CM asked you which view you wanted. I didn't think the views were a bookable category, but rather that they were requests. It surprises me that the CM would as you for a preference. Hope you get what you want!!

I am super duper stoked. I was ready to request 2 Studios if need be. Thankfully, I didn't have to. LOVE having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. 
Interesting. I have never made a DVC reservation so I didn't strike me as odd. He did say it that requests were not guaranteed but since they only have 2 choices, one is guaranteed for sure.
That is good that he said the "requests are requests" line - it will save heartache for people who don't know that in the future. (Not that you didn't know). I guess since it is such a small section of rooms it won't be hard to "try" and get people their requests. I hope you have a fabulous first trip home!
