can my 2-year-old make a bounceback res???

Only she and I will be in WDW this Sept, but next year we may be going with more family and need 2 rooms, do you think we would each be able to book a room for bounceback?

I believe in the past it was one room per adult over 18 named on the present reservation. That was what I was told a few years ago when my teen ager was with me and we could not put a room in her name.

I did bounce back last year and booked 2 rooms and pd 200.00 each dep . at that time ---- for my up coming trip .... But maybe someone is really and expert at it .

Hmmmmm, so I've got 1 no and 1 yes.

The "over 18" seems to make sense, but I want to be sure.

Anyone else?

You must be over 18 to book a room. I don't know if you would be allowed to book more than one room though. If I went down on a solo trip and wanted to bounceback for a family trip, we would require two rooms to travel together at most resorts (we're a family of 5, soon to be 6). I'm sure we're not alone in this.

Two years ago when 2 friends and I shared a room at PC in September, the rule was that each adult on the reservation could book 2 rooms. One of my friends booked a room for her family and another room for another friend of hers.

But the deposit is necessary for each room. If I book a split stay, I'd have to put $200 per resort?

Another question, what if I have to cancel the ressie? Would I ge my depsoit back?

Yes, if you have to cancel for any reason, you can get your deposit back if it is before the 45 day mark on a package and before the 6 day mark on a room only.

1) Yes, a split stay requires two deposits - Disney doesn't have "split stays" per se. It's two separate reservations. $200 per reservation for a package, 1 night's cost per reservation for room-only.

2) Yes, you get your deposit back. The same cancellation rules apply as for any reservation.

Thanks for the replies!

So, if I understand what everyone's saying, since it's only me (well over 18) and my 2 year old, then for bounceback we can only make 1 ressie, 1 room at 1 resort.

Does that sound right?

I believe you can book two rooms (two ressies) and make the two separate deposits in your own name.. . I think that is now correct. It didnt use to be.

That is great news... I spoke with DH and it looks like it's a-go. We'll be booking for 2010 when we get there. It'll make leaving so much easier!:wizard:

I went to POP last year during free dining (last week of September) with just my 11 year old. When I got a bounceback offer, I knew my parents wanted to come the next year and asked to reserve two rooms. They would only let me book one room becasue I was the only adult in the room. It was explained to me that each adult could book one room. I don't know if that has changed or not, but that was my experience last year. I booked the one room.

I had the opposite experience.

I was there, and booking for next year with more guests - and needed 2 rooms - and was able to do so.

Then you got an inexperienced CM that later got written up for booking that other room. Not your fault but dont count on that happening again

I know someone who received a pin/code for free dining in Dec (before it was available to the public) and they booked for 15 people (all family)!!! I believe 5 rooms-all under their name. Now I'm not sure if BB vs. pins/codes are any different for booking, but they are doing this with their Disney Visa to rack up points-the rest of the family will pay them-they even asked me if I wanted to go!!

Someone DEFINATELY got written up for that

Well, my mistake....I guess they all couldn't take advantage of it. They got the free dining to use for their reservation only. The others didn't-under that pin/code. Now that it's available to the public the rest of them booked after. I thought they all got it under one. They did book their families reservation under their cc though.

I have never booked a bounceback yet.. is it very different from a pin code?

I booked with a pin for Sept... booked two rooms no problem. Then I recieved another code and decided to head back again but with my sister this time.. it is a surprise and I was told by at least half a dozen cast members that with the pin code I can book up to three rooms.. which I did.. all I had to do was gve the name of an adult that would be in the room.. the pin was in my name and my sister has never spoken to them... since it is a grand gathering I have been on the phone with them a few times a week and this has never been an issue.

Could she not book two rooms under her offer and then just put her mother's name for example on the other room like I did? Or is this because it is a bounceback and has to be the same as the last reservation?
