Shave Ice at Serenity Bay?

I was watching a YouTube video tour of Serenity Bay and the guide showed a REAL shave ice machine at the lunch venue! I'm not sure if it's an extra charge or not, so if any of you know the answer to this, I'm dying to know so I can budget for it!!! After a trip to Hawaii, I have become hooked, to the point that I will choose it over chocolate, I kid you not! Please share any info you have on this wonder of wonders, and put me out of my anticipatory misery...lol!

It must be something new. I’ve only ever seen soft serve ice cream and soft drinks available at Serenity Bay in the lunch area.

They have them on board as well. I think they are $5.

They have a machine at one of the bars on the family side and onboard, so it would not be surprising they have on at SB. There is an extra cost. We got it once onboard and it was not very good. We like it flaky and soft. It was composed of big ice chunks that fused together. The syrups where commercial ones. Once and done for us.

probably where they sell smoothies. I’ve never seen shaved ice, but I’ve only cruised dcl 23 cruises now, so may have missed it, plus I spend most castaway days at serenity.

good to know. The machine I saw in the video was just like the ones on Oahu, and the guide got one and said it was just as soft and airy. I'm really hoping it is. I miss Oahu!!!
