To me, it looks like the only difference is the shape of the mop (the steam pocket can get into corners?) I have $80.00 in Kohl's cash to use and was wondering if I would be happy getting the "regular" steam mop or if I should splurge and put extra money towards the pocket. I have hard wood and tile floors and am hoping that this will make my life a little easier. TIA for your ideas!

I have the steam pocket mop and its not great, but it does seem to get my job done. I do like the fact that I can just flip the mop part over and have another surface to clean with. Certain traffic areas in my house catch a lot of dirt and the two sides gets them clean - I would not like to have to change the pad out mid-cleaning.

I have the pocket mop and I LOVE IT. I have white tiles in my kitchen and downstairs bath and hardwoods in the rest of the downstairs. I really LOVE my steam mop but I have nothing to compare it too. I think the regular mop would be fine but I do like that I can flip it over and clean some more without bending down to change the pad. It's getting more difficult to get down on all fours these days so anything that prevents that is great in my book!
