Sharing???

I know there have been some posts about CM’s not letting folks pay for kid’s meals OOP but what about sharing on non buffet/fixed price TS locations? I mean, there is no way my kids will eat an entire appetizer, meal AND dessert in one sitting. Has anyone who has tried to have their kids share a meal run into problems recently with being allowed to do it?

I was gonna post something on that same subject, my two DDs are small eaters and they are teenagers. they wanted to share, but we wernt sure if that was aloud also.

The recent dining thread (the vent one probably on page 2 now) indicated several recent park attendees who reported sharing both CS and TS meals.

It will be up to the individual restaurant, but I think that the consensus was that more often than not, it was okay to share a non-buffet meal.

We just came back from WDW and the free dining and there was NO problem with us paying for our kids OOP or having them share a meal. Basically the credits all get bunched together and you can just tell them that you'll be using x# for adults, X for kids or OOP or whatever.

The waitress we had a 50's Prime Time did ask why we would pay for the kids while on a meal plan - we explained that we had figured out when they'd want their own meal, when they'd want to share and what meals would be most effective on the plan. SHe said that we were the 2nd person that she had that day who did it this way and that she had a few over the past week too. She wasn't at all annoyed, just inquiring.

Now as for sharing at buffets - I think there may be a charge for an extra plate but I'm not 100% sure.
