Sharing TS while on Dining Plan???

I am considering sharing some table service meals and using the extra credits on Signature dining. Has anyone done this? How was it handled? What and where did you share? I would tip extra of course.

My mom and i will be sharing a dinner or two. We aren't using them for extra sigature dining - just too much food

You can share as long as it isn't an all you can eat or buffet restaurant. Just let your server know you will be sharing and make sure the correct number of credits were deducted when you get the bill.

We just got back from Disney on Sept 3 from a week-long trip. Experienced none of the horror stories read on the DIS with dining plan. My sister, who recently had bariatric surgery split many meals with her dh at both TS and CS restaurants without any problems. Don't forget that the plan includes tips anywhere from 15-18% automatically (it prints on the bill what the tip is that they will receive from Disney) so that you can plan what you will leave accordingly. Have fun-we sure did!
