Sharing the Magic Referral DVC???

I'm sure some of you "experts" will know the answer immediately to this question.

I was conversing with 2 friends about my excitement for my upcoming trip...3 nights pre-cruise Wilderness Lodge Villas, 4 night Dream cruise, then 1 night post cruise Beach Club Villas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't WAIT!

Both are intrigued by DVC and are considering a purchase...

What is the current "Share the Magic" referral back to the member?
What is the current "Share the Magic" referral for the new purchaser?????

Not sure there is one right now for new buyers--it was a few dollars off a few months ago.

For owners, who live in states that allow the bonus (not sure which ones they are), it is a sliding scale depending on how many you get within the year. I believe the first one is $200, which can be a gift card, Visa card, used to cover dues, or put towards an add on contract.

It goes up from there and there are 5 levels.

Currently, the financial gain is for the DVC Member only. This is the reason that the majority of the time we do not allow offers/requests for referrals here on the DVC Boards (against Posting Guidelines).

But on occasion, we do allow an "official" thread if the current offer includes both new purchase and existing member to benefit.

Good luck with your friends who are purchasing! Be sure to check the member website to see what restrictions (if any) your state has on the referral program.

Why not call your Guide and ask the expert. If you are happy with your Guide I'm sure that he/she would want the lead.

Just tell them for a fee you can save them thousands and help them find a buy a resale contract.
