Sharing Question Not Answered in Search

I've read multiple sharing threads, and didn't see my particular question addressed.

We're traveling under 2 reservations. 4 on 1 ressie considering DDP. 4 on a 2nd ressie who will have TIW card. [side note: if we don't do DDP, we may have someone with TIW pay for whole table, so we know that's an option.]

If DH and I want to share an entree/dessert and are both on the DDP, but others at our table are NOT on the DDP, will we still be allowed to share? We'd be on separate checks, of course.

Has anyone been in this situation? TIA!

Since you and your DH are both on the dining plan you can share at TS restaurants where you order from a menu. You won't be able to share at buffets, all you care to eat family style restaurants, dinner shows, CRT, Akershus, Fantasmic! Dining Package, Candlelight Processional Dining Package or the family platter at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Tell your server who will be using the dining plan and who will be paying OOP. The server will bring separate checks.
