Sharing Memory Maker with Off-Site Guests Without Magic Bands

My extended family is going to be traveling to Disney World this summer. We will be starting our vacation with a 1-night stay at WL before joining the rest of my family at the rental house, so we will get Magic Bands for free. The rest of the family is not planning on purchasing Magic Bands. We are all on the same MDE, but how would we go about sharing Memory Maker if some of us have Magic Bands and some don't?

Regular RFID tickets can be used in place of MB's.

The way that the MagicBand works for MM Photos (scanning,) the RFID tickets would work.

Well, I just had an online chat that seems to contradict this. Now I am so confused! I thought that attraction photos worked the same way? Anyone have any first-hand experience with this?

Kevin: Hello! How may I assist you?

Olivia: Hello, I am having a hard time understanding Memory maker. My parents and sibling and my own family will be traveling to Disney this summer. My family will be staying on site and will have Magic Bands while my parents and siblings will not. If we are all on the same online account, can we share Memory Maker? I know I could use Magic Bands to add the pictures, but how would my family members without Magic Bands add their pictures? Would their admission tickets work? Would I need to be with them at attractions?

Kevin: Everyone needs to be on the same account

Kevin: They can add the pictures via either a MagicBand or by using the plastic card that you get with the package.

Kevin: For the attractions it works a bit differently. The person that has the Memory Maker associated to them will need to go to the attraction to have the picture linked.

Olivia: So if my husband is on a different ride than me he couldn't link the attraction photo himself?

Kevin: No, if you are the one with the Memory Maker you will have to revisit that attraction to have it linked. We are suggesting that guests that do this just keep note of the photo number; you can claim those 24 hours after they were taken.

Anyone linked on the MDE app can get the attractions phots with a Magic Band. I was the purchaser of MM, but my husband used his MB all week to get ride photos when I wasn't with him. So at least that part of Kevin's info is incorrect. I can't speak to the tickets part, since we didn't have that situation.
