Sharing Meals Question

My DS 15 and I will be a WDW for a month this summer. I would hate to eat counter service all that time. However neither of us can finish a meal, especially when it is so hot. Does Disney frown on meal sharing at sit down restaraunts. I figured we could share an appetizer and a meal. Anyones opinion on this.

My mother and I plan on doing this next week, this way we can try an appetizer a meal and a dessert. From what I've heard they will often even split the meal in the kitchen for you! Obviously this is not do-able at buffets of all you can eats!

DH and I do this regularly because we just aren't big eaters. We do make sure to tip though as if we ordered two meals.

Thanks we try to steer clear of the buffets. I am on a diet and my DS doesn't need too much either. This way we can try many different types of food.

My niece (13) and I did this through our entire trip in October. Every place we ate was very accommodating and brought extra clean plates and we always tipped very well.

My DH and I have shared meals numerous times without a problem. Just choose your entrees wisely - of course, it's hard to share a steak or lobster - though knowing Disney, they would figure out a way!

Our family went in 2003 and hubby and I went in 2004, we were able to share several meals. Of course the buffet styles were not possible, but counter service, and other places allowed us to do this. As another poster said, some even split the meal for you. The portions are really big.
