Sharing meals on the DxDP?

Whenever I look at posts of pizzas from Via Napoli, they look so huge! Would it be possible for two people to sit in the restaurant and order one app, one pizza, and one dessert and use only one dining credit?

The answer is Yes-- At most restaurants. But No, not at Via Napoli. They are not Disney-owned, and are much stricter. For parties using DDP, they insist everyone charge a credit.

Via Napoli and Beaches and Cream are the only restaurants consistently noted for not allowing sharing. Everyone else seems to allow it on a regular basis.

No, Via Napoli doesn't allow sharing on DDP. Each guest will need to use a credit.

Yes, that's fine. You can't have two or more people using fewer credits and sharing between them, but you could have a 3A/1C party, for example, where you use 2 adult credits and pay OOP for the third adult and the child.

I'm not a big eater, but I ate almost a whole pizza at Via Napoli myself; the pizza is thin crust and not quite as filling as you might think! I just got the medium (personal? it was for one person, I think) sized pizza and it was PLENTY; I think DBF ate all of his and was pleasantly full.

If they're gonna charge you for everyone, then you might as well each get one!

We just ate there 2 weeks ago. We only used dining credits for the kids and paid OOP for my meal (which was an appetizer) and my husbands meal.

They had no problem with this. We had extra kids table credits and I didn't want to waste my adult credits since I only wanted an appetizer. I used my TIW card for the adult portion of the meal.

I asked them to make 2 separate checks.
