Hi all..Myself, hubby and our daughters aged 1, 5, 7 and son aged 16 will be 1st timers to Disneyland, Hotel New York 10th-12th Aug.. Soo excited!!!

We're on half board plus though my girls hardly eat anything. So I was thinking maybe for lunch I could go with them and order two kids meals using their vouchers and say 1 main for myself, paying only for the main plus my drink.

Then for dinner all six of us could dine together using the 3 left over adult vouchers and the girls could either share ours or order whatever they would like off the menu and we would only have to pay for whatever they ordered. Does anyone know if this would be allowed? On a budget so be good to cut corners and avoid too much waste where possible ;) Thanks in advance xX

Yes, you can use less vouchers towards a meal than there are diners but you can't use more vouchers than the number of diners. :goodvibes

Half board doesn't give you counter service meals though - its table or buffet service. But yes, you can mix and match how you pay for your meals at the participating table and buffet service restaurants, with a mix of vouchers and cash.

Elaine thanks for that. Have booked Walts, Mickeys, Hunters grill, Plaza gardens so far, not sure where to use vouchers yet (DH loved to buffet..) xX

Plaza gardens isn't a great use of the half board plus vouchers in terms of value for money so you might want to consider using the vouchers at the other meals. :goodvibes

Indeed - if you were going to use the vouchers (you won't have one for the youngest child) for you all to eat that would be bad value for your plus vouchers, but using a few to cover the cost would work out fine.

As Elaine said, the half board are table/buffet only but your youngests eats free at buffets anyway :) You might also be able to have have a small free child meal at a table service restaurant :) You can use them at Annettes though and they are open for lunch :)
