We are on the dining plan for our upcoming trip, and we have ADRs for Artist Point...just DH and I (baby will be with grandparents). :) I was wondering if anyone has shared a meal at Artist Point using the dining plan and paid out of pocket for a separate entree. For instance, if DH and I share the appetizer and dessert, and he orders an entree for himself, will that be enough food? Do they care if you do that? I'm thinking it might work out fine, since we wouldn't "normally" eat an app, entree, and dessert each when eating out.

If we do that, it will save us 2 table service credits, and we can get another dinner for us out of it.

Any opinions??

Thanks :flower:

We usually share at Artist point. We've never done the dining plan but I don't see why what you're suggesting won't work. We usually each get an appetizer (salad and soup) and 1 entree and 1 dessert to share. My favorite dessert at WDW is the Coffee 2 Ways. Enjoy.

Getting separate entrees and splitting app and dessert will be more than enough food. If they let you do the surf and turf (meaning add a cedar planked salmon on to any entree) then you wouldn't even need the separate entree! Seriously, for 'fine dining' the portions are very generous.
