Sharing iTunes- can you pick and choose what syncs?

I googled, but I didn't understand what I found or else it was from 2005. We have a CD we put on our iTunes and DD10 likes the songs (Disney Mania) and DD13 wants them OFF! We have 3 iPod Touch set up with our iTunes. Does every one of us have to have all the same stuff on our Ipods? Or can DD13 set it so that Disney Mania songs are off of hers, but stay on DD10's?

Yes. Just set your settings to "manually manage" and you can pick and choose

DH and I have ours set up for sharing and I don't have anything on my iPod that DH has on his and vice versa, not sure if that is how it is supposed to work or not, but it does on our system/computers.

I don't know how to share some of his music he has that I want either, I don't think he wants any of mine

Can you tell me where to find that? All I've found is to stop it from syncing automatically but that didn't give me any options.

Okay I found that option but I'm not sure what to do then.

I also see in the Help that you need to click Eject before disconnecting. I hope we can remember that.

Have your Dd make herself a playlist of what she wants on her iPod and only sync that playlist to her iPod instead of the whole library. It sounds like you have "automatically sync checked songs" checked in your options. Turn that off.
