Thank you both for taking the time to answer my questions. In case anyone else has the same questions I was able to find more information.
--You can have 5 people registered to each room. That works out well for us because I can just add my niece to our reservation to make a 5th person.
--There is a VIP pass that is $150. It includes admission to the parks for one day and unlimited FOL just like having a room card. This is a good way to add a 6th person for one day and not have to split up your group. It is also cheaper than renting another room.
Again, I want to thank the people who replied for offering suggestions.
just a heads up in case you are not familiar with the hotel policies.
yes, 5 to a room is allowed.
but the catch is, there is an additional $25 charge per adult each night on the reservation after the first 2 adults are counted for the room.
the way it is set up for having 5 in the room is to have 2 adults and 3, 17 and under in your party.
if your niece is 17 or younger, you would NOT have that additional charge.
the first two adults/ guest 18 and older, will not have an additional surcharge for the room.
once you include people 18 and over, they nail you for that extra fee.
if you add or try to add a 6th person, it will be an issue.
due to the fire codes for hotels in orlando, the loews hotels can not have 6 listed in one room.
i know, they have you coming or going with those exceptions but there is no way to get out of their rules.
good luck on what you decide.
