Sharing entrees at TS restaurants

Are there any TS restaurants, besides buffets and family style dinners or V & A, that do not allow you to share an entree? My DH and I would like to maybe get apps, share an entree and share a dessert at some of the TS places.

Also, I know that threads can get heated about certain topics. I'm not sure if sharing an entree is one of them. I'm not trying to start a heated discussion. I'm specifically wanting to know if it is not allowed at certain places because I will go ahead and order two entrees if sharing is not allowed. Just wanting a heads up.

Pretty sure it is okay at most places. DH and I have done it even on the dining plan b/c we wanted to do Coral Reef and Tutto Italia ~ but couldn't fit it in. We do deluxe dining so two apps, entrees and desserts for one lunch were out of the question ~ sharing worked well.

Of course we were both on the same dining plan so they were fine with it... but you couldn't do it if say only one of you had the dining plan.

I would guess this is a YMMV thing depending on the cast member. Just ask before you order!

The only time I've heard of any issues is at Beaches & Cream, but that's only if you're using the DDP. I've heard of people sharing there that have paid OOP, and they did't have any problems.

I've shared at several restaurants, and I've found the same thing... most will bring out one portion already divided on separate plates. It makes dining more affordable and reasonable and easy, especially for some people who have stomachs that fill up quite easily.

Actually, it is very common for a couple to share at V&A. When there are multiple choices for each course, each person selects one and then shares. Doubles the experience with the same amount of food.

While not a buffet or family-style restaurant, where a specific menu item is all-you-care-to-eat at a standard table service restaurant, nothing on it can be shared (at all) with other diners at your table - or any other table - without incurring a full second charge.

DW,friends and I normally share apps, entres and desserts.Servers were very helpful most times either plating or bringing extra plates and bowls.

My mom is a very light eater, so we shared at many places a few years ago. The only place that charged us was at RFC, where there was a $1.00 plate charge.

Still cheaper than purchasing two meals and having left half of each of them.

I can think of one exception to the OK to share rule and that is the all you can eat skillet at Whispering Canyon Cafe. I believe that will be served to only one person. Other than that, when paying OOP I've never had a problem doing what you describe. My daughter and I will share an entree so that I can enjoy an appetizer and she can enjoy a dessert without being overstuffed. But we do not do the dining plan. I've heard that you can't share on the dining plan.
