I guess I need to double check this. I planned on sharing a meal here. Did this happen to anyone else? Was anyone successful sharing a meal at Teppanyaki in Japan?
Well said!kpm76 said:Huh? Why is there an "invisible person?" DH and I always tip well for good service and more than likely we'd leave extra even though the DDP includes tip. However, whether or not we were on the DDP, often times DH and I share meals so we can have dessert, therefore, we'd spend the same if we were paying OOP or on the DDP. I wholeheartedly agree that good service deserves good compensation but since tips are based on what you order, I don't see the problem.
