Sharing AAA Diamond Parking Pass???

Hey folks.
We're flying down in May and staying on property with no vehicle.
We have friends that are driving down at the same time. We booked
thru AAA. They did not. I have a AAA Parking pass and no car. They
have a car and no AAA parking pass.

Can they use mine? Do they check such things at the gate or do you just
flash the card and they let you park?

Anyone have experience with this?

Technically the pass is non-transferable. We have never had to show our AAA card just the pass. We have found that the only place it really helps is Animal Kingdom.

You just show them the pass when you pay and they tell you to follow the blue or green line to the special lot and leave the pass on your dashboard. They do not check your AAA card or anything else. But yes, the pass does say non-transferable on it.

Just tell them to arrive early, there aren't that many spots.

also there are blackout days listed on back of pass, and some that aren't. we arrived at Animal Kingdom one day last week a few minutes before park opening and we followed the line around only to be stopped and told they weren't doing diamond pass parking that day and turned us around to park in regular parking. later in the day when we went to MK the parking attendant did actually check our pass for the year stamped on it.
