Sharing a photo pass with strangers

My friend just got back and she arranged to share a photo pass with 9 other families (she did not know them) and she only paid $12 for the pass. One person organized it , everyone paid her, and she burned the CD's and sent them out.

Any one know anything about this?

Yep. I participated in a photopass share last year and am doing it again this year. Both times it was under $25 or so.

Yes, We did a photopass share last Thanksgiving. There were about 6 families and the lady who hosted the share was great. She even helped me when I messed up when I got back home and tried to get mine pictures on the right place.I just hope that next time I plan to go she is hosting one again.She was great.
