ok, me and my mom will be at WDW Sep 22-26. We have the free dining, and have all our ADR's. We were thinking of splitting the surf and turf at Le Cellier, and saving a TS credit for lunch (to be shared) at WCC. I know that alot of people have shared meals on the plan, so it is allowed, but I am wondering if they will split it for you in the kitchen, or do they just bring an extra plate to the table for you to split? I know some of the places here will do the split in the kitchen, and it is alot easier!!! Thanks!!! :cheer2:

We recently returned using the meal plan. Alot of the counter service meals can be shared, but I would not split the surf & turf at Le Cellier. We had this meal and it is not overly filling. Even with having the cheese soup before and having dessert. We are not big eaters and eating the surf & turf with the appetizer and dessert was not over doing it and I would not recommend sharing. I would highly recommend eating here and ordering the surf & turf though. It was great! The best meal I had!

we always share and our meal at lecellier was the least amount of sides anywhere...we had "kind of" enough but not really "totally enough" . definite room for snack later...they did not split it for us but brought us another plate.( bd did splitfor us, some places did some didn't)

We were there last week, 6 of us, we ordered 5 meals (free dining.) I said my 10yrold twin daughters would share - the waiter had a tough time with this, went to the manager, came back and said it would be ok, but we'd have to pay for her drink, at first we argued that one of the adults wouldn't be ordering a drink so it shouldn't matter, but he just kept saying they go by seat numbers, anyway I just said yeah sure fine. They didn't split any food in the kitchen but did bring us plates. 5 meals for 6 people (3 adults, 3 girls 12,10,10) was PLENTY of food! One idea you might try is to have one person order a full meal using a TS credit, and the other order just the cheese soup, its only $5 and very filling, then you should have plenty between you. If you like mussels, try the mussels appetizer - it was fantastic. The best entree between us was the mushroom Filet Mignon, flavor was excellent and the risotto was great. DH had the surf and turf and thought it was good not great. DB had the big (20 oz?) ribeye steak - HUGE, and very good. I had the salmon, again good but not great, actually I think the appetizers were just so good and filling that the entrees were almost a let down. If you like spicy, the shrimp appetizer was also great.
