Sharing a meal at 50s Prime Time

After looking at the menu and my son's new found love for fried chicken, would it be possible for my son (8) and I to share the fried chicken meal and possibly sub the mashed potatoes with french fries for him? I haven't shared a meal with my kiddos since they were toddlers, but I know as soon as he sees that they have fried chicken he will want it and I don't see it listed at all on the kids menus. We are not on the dining plan so that is not an issue. TIA!

Following along because I, too, am hoping to share a meal (either sampler or pot roast) with my 10 year old, mostly because I can't eat a whole plate of it myself. I had heard that they've been cool with sharing plates in the past, but haven't read any recent confirmations of this.

This was my meal last month at 50's Prime Time. Chicken, Mashed potatoes with gravy and corn on the cob. I don't know if you can substitute for french fries or not. They gave me 4 pieces of chicken.

My wife and I typically do this every time we eat at the 50's actually. We get two appetizers (share those) then share the Sampler Platter that has fried chicken, pot roast & meat loaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. I am sure there will be no issues subbing for french fries. I mean they have them, what's the big deal if you want those instead of mashed potatoes?

I love their Fried Chicken there! IMO it is way big enough for you guys to share. You can also do subs.
