Received the results in todays post of first quarter of 2008
* revenues up 20% to €341 million
* revenue up 14% to €316 million - theme park attendance, guest spending and hotel occupancy
* real estate development up to €18 million

The hotel occupancy increases is seen primarily driven by more guests from Spain and the United Kingdom.

The General Meeting is on Thursday 21st February. The presentation of your Shareholders Club card is not sufficient to attend. Detailed instructions are given for those wishing to attend.

Nicely there is a special offer of 25% discount on stays at Hotel New York and Newport bay Club for a stay between 20 February and 22 February.

You make me jealous, we have not gone anywhere in our *search for shares*.
Natwest has sent back the forms saying we need to ask the bank in Italy to grant the quest for us (even though my partner has still a bank account with Natwest) and i really really worry we will ever be able to sort out anything

Just found out husband has something arranged for the night of the 22nd. He says I shouldn't be greedy - 5 days is enough. And I'm going again in April.
I hate it when I know he's right.

I previously had two certificates as I purchased some more shares a couple of years ago when they raised the criteria for free membership of the Shareholders Club. So far I've received one certificate but am still waiting for the other. I'm not too worried as I've had the annual statement from CACEIS which shows the correct number of shares but I would like it, if only to tidy up my pending!

I am too lazy to do the whole paperwork to vote by proxy, and I don't think we'll go to the shareholders meeting. Since it's on a Thursday, I have to take off 2 days at work, and I need those vacation days for the appartment

Seems very difficult to get everything set up to vote by proxy.

I am going to be at DLRP when the shareholder's meeting is taking place but I don't think I could miss time in the Park to listen to a lot of dry talk about revenue and profit and loss.......I only have 5 shares after all! Unless there are freebies to be had of course....

Well if you are wanting to go you'll need to get your skates on as there are various things you have to do to be regsitered for attending.
You would not be able to arrive unregsitered regardless of having shareholders club card or share certificates in hand

That's what I was thinking too. I have 20 shares and not too much interest in teh dry talk.
However, if there are freebies or meets and greets with Mickey or even if you can purchase some LE stuff, I would maybe go for one day.
