Shareholders discount

Am I right in thinking that I can use my shareholders card to get discount at Disney Stores in the UK? If I can, is it instantly recognised by the CMs?

Yes. The CM in the Reading shop recognised the card straight away. There were no problems, I even got the 10% of the sale items.

I did take a copy of the information from the shareholders website giving details of the discount but did not need it.

Yes its easy, Disneystore workers seem really well trained with all sorts of offer etc.

They also have a folder which gives them a list of all discounts etc, which I've seen.

I took the information I got from the Shareholders club the first time I went but didn't need it. The CM serving me didn't know how much discount but they checked with another CM who showed them the folder Chrismoo mentions. I got 10% off sale items too

I did the same keeping a clipping in my wallet, but never been asked to show it. It is great to get the discount

Brilliant!!! Our nearest Disney Store is in Southampton so I don't get there very often but we're going to go Christmas shopping there next week so I will have great fun and the girls will be at school so I won't have any children to hinder me ~ even better!!!

CMs in Disney Stores DO indeed have a folder with the list of Discount cards they can take, similar to the ones they have at DLRP (when my fiancée was a CM we used to always see the folder, has pictures and codes of all the CM ID cards for all the Disney Stores throughout Europe - i miss this part of life now she doesn't work there any more )
