Is it true that shareholders are entitled to a free breakfast and tea and cakes at Salon Mickey? Are there any characters at Salon Mickey? My kids would love to have them around to themselves.

Also, I note that shareholders get 10% off disney hotels if booked direct with them via the shareholders telephone line.

Does that include the current special offer package deals of:- kids under 7 stay and play free and get 1 day & 1 night extra free deals that are currently on offer if you book online with disneyland.com?

Also, as I only do online sharedealing, would a printed contract note be sufficient proof that I own the shares? (The idea of trying to get hold of a share certificate would be a bit of a nightmare!!!)

Unfortunately there aren't any characters at Salon Mickey. It's very small and intimate, you only need to have a dozen people in there and the room is crowded. A shareholder can take up to 4 members of their immediate family or up to 3 friends for complimentary refreshments but it's only a snack ie. hot/cold drinks and a cookie/muffin/doughnut. It's very elegant in there and a lovely perk.

»Eurodisney says: "cannot be combined with any other promotional offers". I'd say: just kindly ask them when you call the SH line. There might be offers that they don't want exclude their valued shareholders from. But it may vary due to the offer, the CM you'll get and the daily weather.

Do you do off-stock trades? No experiences with those so far. But usually your bank will send you a printed confirmation of what's in your custody account (can usually be requested online). This piece of paper will be enough. No need of certificates as far as I know.

I just printed out the contract note that was emailed to me when I bought my shares - it seemed to work!

But it may vary due to the offer, the CM you'll get and the daily weather.

When we booked our holiday in October we couldn't combine the shareholder's discount and '4 for 3' but it worked out just as cheap using the discount to leave a day after the '4 for 3' ran out and that meant arriving on a Monday rather than a Sunday which is far better all round.

Generally true! Arriving on an 'expensive' day (see the planners in the catalogs etc.) will make the rooms expensive for the whole stay.

You can't combine with the extra free nights, but "Kids under 7 stay and play free" is still included.

The CM that took our booking actually checked the system so that we got the best deal.
