Shareholder discount in disney stores

Really thinking about buying some shares and joining the shareholder club. Its not a major deciding factor but would be interested to know if the 10% discount is still valid in UK disney stores? On the website I was looking at it said that the discount only applied until 31st December 2007. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Our local Disney Store (in Hull) is terrible with the shareholders discount. I've been refused it on numerous occasions. Is there anything definitive anywhere that I could print out and take with me next time?

That'a a shame. The definitive print lists the discount as only being valid to 31st December 2007, so it will not be of much help now.
Thankfully in the various places I've used it I just tell them it is 10% discount and they press a button on the till rather than find the book

The shop in Edinburgh has never been a problem. They usually have to find a code in a folder but I've used it after Dec 2007 and noone has questioned the discount

I've used mine in Southampton recently. Sometimes they have to check with a colleague before giving the discount but we've never had any problem getting it.
