I opened an account with them because of a promotion for Costco members. Get a $70 gifr card for opening an account and then executing one trade. So I did both and I bought some Disney stock today. So my question is, what happens to any dividends/earnings (I'm a complete nube when it comes to this)? Do they get deposited into my sharebuilder account?

It depends on how you set up your account. I believe the default is to reinvest dividends. That's what I do.

Depends on how you set up the terms of your stock purchase. I don't trade with Sharebuilder, but typically when you make the purchase, you are asked whether or not you would like to reinvest the dividends. If you don't, Disney will cut you a check.

It didn't ask when I clicked "buy". I'd prefer them (any) to be deposited into my account. I'll check with sharebuilder.
